    [ Remembering Never ]

She Looks Good In Red (Ferret Music)

Hey! Someone slipped the new Poison the Well CD in the case! Actually,I WISH the new PTW was this good. Sure, this isn't breaking any new ground, but for what it is ("emotional metalcore",as the kids like to call it ), it's pretty damn good. Pete's vocals, both singing and screaming, sound EXACTLY like Jeffrey from PTW. To be honest, this is pretty much exactly like PTW's newest, "Tear From the Red" (hell, even the titles are similar), only Remembering Never does it better. The emo parts are more intense, the heavy parts are heavier, and theres a dash more metal included, whereas the new PTW sounds completely stale and stagnant. I hate using another album as the basis for the entire review, but if you heard this album, you'd see there's no other way around it. Fans of PTW, even those who were disappointed with "Tear From the Red", pick this up and see how it should have been done.
