    The Fuse Is Lit

You know, I don't like this whole old school revival trend that has polluted hardcore the past few years. It is my creed that if you play this style, and were not a band in 1990, stop it, and go fingerpoint your way off a cliff. So I was prepared to write this off as generic crap and sell it to the record store for lunch money. And then I listened to it. Jesus Christ. I'm not a fan of the new breed of old school, but these guys are fucking vicious. Pretty much the best "pure hardcore" record to come out since Sworn Enemy and American Nightmare's last efforts...so fucking good. It's basically six new songs and a blistering live set recorded at CBGB, including a Void cover. Good stuff to mosh around your room to.
