    [ Clenched Fist ]

    Welcome To Memphis

There's hardcore in Memphis? There sure is, although judging by the sound, you'd think it came from NYC circa mid-90s. Led by vocalist(and Presidential candidate) Juicy Joel, Clenched Fist jumps right out of the gate with the hard hitting title track, and doesn't relent til the last notes of "I Can't Believe." Lyrically, the Juice addresses a lot of things that piss him off about the scene and the kids therein. Boy, if *I* wrote about such things....ahh, but this is not my review, so back to Clenched Fist. The breakdowns are hard, and there's gang vocals abound. You know how it goes. There are also 2 hidden live tracks, both covers- Madball (I was in the audience for this one,ha!), and Stars and Stripes.
