    [ Dag Nasty ]

    Minority of One

Dag Nasty is back! Wow. This is one reunion I sure don't mind! It sort of picks up right where they left off, yet also brings in enough progress and new flavor to remain relevant to todays sound. It could have just as easily been the next Down By Law record. Dave Smalley sounds as good as ever. Longtime Dag Nasty fans will definitely dig right in. While it does indeed sound a lot like Down By Law, it has the same atmosphere as "Wig Out At Denkos",and you can surely tell it's a Dag Nasty record, although it's very obvious Brian Baker has been spending time in Bad Religion, as some of the guitar solos sound as if they could come right off of a BR record. It also has a bit of a Pennywise vibe to it. Anyway, this can easily appeal to both old school fans of the band as well as scholars of the Epitaph/Fat melodic punk style(which Dag Nasty probably helped create and influence anyway)
